Junior League Information
WELCOME TO THE 2018 JUNIOR LEAGUE (“JL”) SEASON!
Please help us to help you secure a place for your child in one of our JL teams, Football West impose strict timelines for the Fremantle City Football Club (“the FCFC”) to nominate teams within the JL competition and there are financial penalties applied if we withdraw teams nominated, therefore we will ONLY be nominating teams based on the players that are registered by the 24th February 2018.

Incentive Offered: All players registered and paid in full by the 24th February will receive a complimentary FCFC Club Pack which includes a FCFC scarf, beanie and reusable coffee cup valued at $40. You can also choose your team preference (excluding NPL and Academy). If you bring your payment receipt along to the ONE Club Family Fun Day on the 24th February at Hilton Park and place it in the barrel, the first receipt drawn will receive a $250 cash prize.
Age groups: Age groups commence with the Under 10’s (birth year 2008) up to Under 18’s. As per the FCFC policy players must play in their own age group unless permission to change is given by the FCFC TD Dom Gangemi.
First Game: Football West has initially scheduled the first game on the 8th April 2018 (this date is still in draft form only, we are waiting on confirmation from Football West)

10s, 11s and 12s
The Changes that have been made within 10s – 12s includes the introduction of a metropolitan level of competition.
|Blue, Green, Orange. Separated by North and South||now will be||Blue, Green, Orange. Clubs from both North and South can nominate to go into these groups. If there is a need for an extra group Football West will create a fourth metropolitan group.|
|Purple, Red, White, Yellow||now will be||There is no difference in these colours in regards to the level of skill. Football West will try to place clubs according to their zones* to reduce travel time while keeping to the clubs requests as much as possible.|
Grading: These will take place during the start of training which will be commencing the week of 5th March.
Training: Training will commence the beginning of the 5th March and players will be graded during training. We anticipate keeping the teams together from last season which will help team selection easier and make up any shortfalls with new players.
Coaches/Managers Meeting: We would like to invite all parents who would be interested in coaching or managing to a meeting on the 12th February 2018 at 7pm at Hilton Park Clubrooms. Meet with some of our executive committee and Technical Director. We will be there to help and support you and we will be offering coaching workshops during the season.
Uniforms: FCFC will provide a playing kit for the players to use for the season which must be returned at the end of the season. Players will be responsible for their own shin pad and boots.
Fees: Same as 2017, $385 for 10-11 year old & $440 for 12-18 year old junior league players.
Volunteers: As a not for profit sporting association we rely on the helpful support of volunteers. We are currently seeking volunteers for our Junior League Committee. FCFC Family Fun Saturday 24th February 3-8pm Hilton Park: To celebrate the ongoing Joint Venture Agreement between Fremantle United Soccer Club and East Fremantle Tricolore Soccer Club who now both play under ‘the ONE Club’ Fremantle City Football Club the FCFC Executive would like to invite ALL players and parents to a family fun day.
